If you've forgotten your SignicatID password or changed your identity document or phone number since you last signed, you can no longer use your existing signing certificate. You must revoke your current certificate before creating a new one.
How to revoke a signing certificate
1. Open the signing page of a document.
2. Select the issuing country of your ID, and choose the SignicatID signing method. Then press Continue.
3. Choose the country of your mobile network, enter your phone number, and press Continue.
4. Press I forgot my password. Our system will then send you an email with a link to revoke your old certificate.
5. Check your email inbox and open the letter from Signicat Spain with the subject line "Your certificate for Qualified Electronic Signatures". The letter contains your Username, ERC, and a revocation link. Press on the provided link (revoke) to proceed.
6. Enter your Username (a.k.a. Scratchcard number) and ERC, and press Check.
7. Here, you can see information regarding your issued certificate. Press Revoke.
8. Specify a reason for revoking the certificate, enter your ERC once again, and press Confirm.
9. Return to your Dokobit signing page and press Continue to resume video onboarding: SignicatID: How to create a signing certificate.
